Organic materials
Materials used in toys/products with this criterion are from certified organic cultivation. This means that they don’t use genetically modified seeds and the absence of dangerous chemical substances such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

Produced from natural materials
Production from materials which can be found in the nature reduces consumption of resources thus increasing the ecological value of the toys/products. The products are characterized by a high life expectancy, timeless design, and high quality. Manufacture without involving chemical treatments or adding of chemicals, as a rule.

Recycled or recyclable 
Toys/products made from, or use for packaging, recycled / recyclable materials. Recycling is a process of changing materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful resources. By recycling, a significant reduction in consumption of fresh raw materials, energy usage, and air and water pollution is achieved.

Resource efficient/low CO2 emission
Final products are designed having in mind a responsible use of energy and resources within the whole production system (e.g. the reduction of packaging materials). Manufacture involves one or more of renewable energy sources such as biomass, solar cells, biogas, waste, or low carbon production.

Responsible forestry
Toys or products made from sustainably managed forest. Shopping toys made from sustainably managed forests contribute to reducing of greenhouse emissions. Our products with this criterion have a certified stamp which is your assurance that it is made with or contains wood that comes from certified forests.

Sustainable Production
Toys/products are created using processes and systems which are reducing pollution; economically efficient; safe for workers, communities, and consumers; socially and creatively rewarding for all working people.
